BBB LTD team riders Jeff Chase, Dave Nelson and The Skateboard Mag editor Kevin Wilkins met up with Brad Siedlecki from Pillar Skatepark Design to look over the skatepark being built on 68th and Harrison. They all decided on a few minor tweaks to the park, including some minor tweaks with the transitions in the bowl and taking out the loveseat in the flow course.
Jeff Chase is going to be helping out with cutting the templates for the transition around the park.
With all the rain, it has pushed it back a month or so from it’s original completion date of July 26th.
Dave recently talked to the city, and they’re thinking of having the grand opening around Labor Day weekend. Nothing is secured yet though.

Unfortunately, they didn’t hire Jeff Chase for the transitions. They should have. It would have been done right the first time.
